This Privacy Notice explains how Enterprise AI Africa ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data in accordance with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and applicable regulations issued by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

2. Data Controller

The data controller is Enterprise AI Africa, based in Nairobi, Kenya. Contact: kennedy@enterpriseaiafrica.com.

3. Data We Collect

  • Newsletter subscribers: email address.
  • Strategy call bookings: name, work email, company, role, focus area and any notes you provide.
  • Website usage: standard log data (IP, user agent, pages viewed) for security and analytics.

4. Purposes of Processing

We process personal data to respond to enquiries, schedule strategy calls, deliver newsletters, provide our services and comply with legal obligations.

5. Processors and Third Parties

We share limited personal data with the following processors solely to operate this site and our services:

  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security.
  • Calendly — scheduling of strategy calls.
  • Beehiiv — newsletter delivery (when active).
  • Resend / Lovable Email — transactional email delivery.

Where data is transferred outside Kenya, we rely on appropriate safeguards permitted under the Act.

6. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Booking records are typically retained for 24 months; newsletter records until you unsubscribe.

7. Your Rights

Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 you have the right to:

  • Be informed about the use of your personal data.
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Object to processing of your personal data.
  • Request correction of false or misleading data.
  • Request deletion of your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

If you are dissatisfied with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) of Kenya at www.odpc.go.ke.
